Mainstream Media Asked Me About “Palestine.” I Gave Them the Unapologetic Truth

I recently had the opportunity to be interviewed by an international mainstream media outlet about Israel, the “palestinians”, Judea and Samaria, and the war over our homeland.And they came with plenty of tough questions.The premise behind all the questions: the familiar international narrative portraying the “palestinians” as the perpetual victims and Jews living in our ancestral homeland as the supposed religious fanatics violating international law.I welcomed the questions because they gave me an opportunity to present a perspective their audience rarely gets to hear: the unapologetic Jewish and Israeli truth that is never heard.I was actually serving on IDF reserve duty at the time of this interview, defending our people while simultaneously being asked to justify why Jews live in Judea and Samaria and why Israel acts as it does.I tried to challenge the premises behind the questions and explain the reality so often missing from international coverage: Jewish history, our indigenous connection to this land, the security reality Israelis face, the ideology driving our enemies, and why understanding the conflict requires first understanding who the enemy is and what they actually want.They never sent me the final televised program, so I still don't know what portions of my answers ultimately made it to air.Fortunately, I recorded the entire interview myself.So now you can watch the conversation uncut and judge my answers for yourself.Did I answer their questions effectively?
