On March 1st, 1976 William Bradford Bishop Jr. bludgeoned his mother, wife, and three young sons to death in their Bethesda, Maryland home. He drove their bodies to North Carolina, where he dumped them a shallow grave and lit them on fire before driving to Great Smoky Mountains National Park. There, he ditched his car, walked into the woods and vanished - or did he?
