Dock Talk with Jeff Cote and Stewart Jones of Pro-Tech Yacht Services

Like many of us, Stewart Jones was introduced to boating at a young age.  His family built a boat when he was ten and the rest is history.  He has a lifetime of rigging industry experience as well as offshore sailing. He runs Pro-Tech Yacht Services, a full-service rigging and metal fabrication shop in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.  

Stewart has participated in three Victoria to Maui Races and was on the winning boat twice. He has also participated in two Admirals Cup Races in the UK, both on the boat “Pachena” from Vancouver.  He has spent numerous years on the board of the BC Marine Trades Association and Boating BC. He has also been heavily involved with the West Vancouver Yacht Club, teaching sailing as a youth, serving as a board member, commodore and is now an Honorary Life Member.  Today he will be sharing the future of rigging and some new innovations that are real game-changers.
