Victor Blackwood came to the family's orbital estate to settle an inheritance. Instead, he finds a house that can feel him moving through its walls.

Blackwood Station is a Victorian manor bolted around the bones of an old military platform, adrift inside a gas giant's rings. Its stained-glass domes are cracking under constant ice. Its servants walk in perfect silence. Its communications are dead. And Victor's estranged brother Roland, sustained by ornate chrome augmentations that are beginning to corrode, has locked Victor's shuttle to the dock.

Victor is a salvage man. He knows failing machinery, hidden service corridors, and the difference between damage and design. As he searches for the missing family solicitor, he discovers surgical rooms behind the paneling and something pulsing through the station's walls.

Whatever Roland has built into Blackwood Station is keeping him alive. It is also waiting for Victor.

To leave, Victor will have to dismantle his inheritance from the inside before the house closes around him.
