In this episode of Architecture Talks, I sit down with Reda Amalou, founder of AW2, the internationally renowned architecture and design firm he established in 1997. Over the years, alongside his partner Stéphanie Ledoux, Reda has shaped AW2 into a leading force in sustainable hospitality design, with projects spanning more than 45 countries.

We discuss AW2’s commitment to site-specific and sustainable architecture - rethinking luxury through an ecological lens. From off-grid eco-resorts to high-end hotels, Reda shares how AW2 integrates local materials, passive design strategies, and bioclimatic principles to create spaces that are both breathtaking and environmentally responsible.
