What does an Evaluator do? The role of the Evaluator (or Fragrance Development Manager, as they are more often called) is a crucial part of the fragrance development process. They're the conduit between the brand and the perfumer, translating the brief between both parties to ensure that the client gets a fragrance that smells exactly the way they want it to. In this episode I speak to Ashna Roy (Senior Fragrance Development Manager) and Julie Fwok (Fragrance Development Manager) at the fragrance house MANE all about their roles, upcoming fragrance trends, and how culture impacts our experience of scent. It's a truly fascinating discussion.
You can find out more about MANE on their website: https://www.mane.com/

Ashna's emotional connection scent is Jasmine Sambac & Marigold by Jo Malone London and Julie's emotional connection scent is NUXE Prodigeux Le Parfum.
