With the success of BACKROOMS, we decided to open the discussion to "the liminal and the uncanny" when it comes to the horror genre! What are other examples that use liminal spaces (or purgatory) as their backdrop? From the recent EXIT 8, to Kiyoshi Kurosawa's Japanese masterpiece PULSE, to Kubrick's THE SHINING, or Vincenzo Natali's debut CUBE. And of course, David Lynch and his repeated obsession with the liminal! Also: an update on HITCHCOCKIAN THRILLERS, and the work of Anthony Perkins!
