Meet the 2026 IASP President-Elect with Mary Cardosa

Every two years, at the World Congress on Pain, IASP welcomes a new organization President, elected by our members. This year, we are excited to welcome in Dr. Mary Sum Cardosa, a consultant pain specialist who has served for more than 30 years in the Ministry of Health in Malaysia, to fill this role.

In this episode of Pain Exchange, our host Dr. Renee Chasse speaks with Mary about her many accomplishments in pain management and care, as well as her passion for IASP and her plans for the IASP presidency.
