The Loggia dei Lanzi

TheLoggia dei Lanzi is one of the most famous structures in Piazza della Signoriain Florence. Built between 1376 and 1382, it is an example of Gothicarchitecture. It houses some of the most famous sculptures in Florence,including "Perseus" by Benvenuto Cellini and "Rape of the SabineWomen" by Giambologna. The loggia is open to the public and offers aspectacular view of the square.
