U.S. ABANDONING The Persian Gulf!

Former CIA analyst Larry Johnson joins Jimmy to argue that damage to U.S. military installations in the Persian Gulf has prompted the Pentagon to reconsider its long-standing military presence in the region, including whether damaged bases should be rebuilt. The two believe the conflict has weakened U.S. influence with Gulf states, which as a result will increasingly seek regional security arrangements independent of Washington, citing a proposed Saudi-Turkish-Pakistani security agreement as an example. 

The discussion shifts to growing political divisions in the United States over support for Israel, with both Jimmy and Larry suggesting the issue could fracture the Republican Party and contribute to the emergence of a new political movement.
