Buzz: The Open-Source Workspace for Human-AI Collaboration

Buzz is a new open-source platform created by Block to bring people, AI agents, conversations, and software development into a shared workspace. Built on the Nostr protocol, it gives every participant a unique cryptographic identity, creating accountability, traceability, and continuity across decisions that would otherwise be scattered between different tools.

The system treats AI agents as genuine team members capable of joining conversations, reviewing code, proposing changes, and carrying out automated workflows. Its goal is to solve the problem of fragmented information by maintaining one shared history in which human reasoning, agent activity, code changes, and key decisions remain connected.

Although Buzz is still at an early stage of development, it represents an important shift toward a more integrated workplace where humans and AI agents can collaborate as members of the same team.
