David Armand

A novelist and poet whose narratives come from the shape of his personal experiences in an impressionistic Deep South where the trappings of tradition and an intrinsic yearning for more meet each other at every corner, David Armand’s works include The Pugilist's Wife (2010 George Garrett Fiction Prize), My Mother's House, a memoir, and his latest release The Lord's Acre. He is from and resides in Louisiana where he is the Undergraduate Coordinator and fiction workshop instructor at Southeastern Louisiana University.
