Nonprofits: Are Volunteers Taking Work Away from Paid Staff?

Last September, Cécile joined a nonprofit organization as a staff member for the first time. Coming from a background in the corporate and public sectors, she was surprised by many aspects of the inner workings of the nonprofit world. In particular, she discovered the dynamics between staff and volunteers… which aren’t always smooth sailing.
