What If Ned Stark Fled King’s Landing After Robert’s Death

Ned watches Renly depart, leaving him alone in the halls to ponder what he will do next. Though he does not admit it, Renly is likely going to be freed after this, and Ned cannot truly blame him. With Robert dead, the capital just got even more dangerous for men like them. No doubt he will make his way back to Storm’s End.

Though Ned wishes to shout for him to return and urge him to try and take control of the Red Keep, another part of him is worried and wishes to join him.
